An iconic building with architectural and cultural significance for the locals of Tacoma, Washington is in danger of falling soon. The city's 120-year-old Old City Hall, though no longer a local government building, holds significance on the city's history. The News Tribune reported that the Old City Hall's roof is on the verge of collapsing. Not only that, it also has other issues, putting the building in need for a complete renovation. Just like Tacoma, the city of Tampa in Florida also holds many historic buildings. And to avoid the same fate from happening to these structures, regular inspection, maintenance, and appropriate roof repair in Tampa should be done. Thankfully, the new owner of the building agreed to have the copper roofing repaired. Moreover, city officials advised that the repair project should be done before winter, saving the roof from acquiring more damage should the snow start piling up.
